2401 Nevada Boulevard
Charlotte, NC
Description
Westmount Realty Capital purchased this 1.1 million square foot industrial complex in June 2006. The property had been vacant since February 2005 when Winn-Dixie filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection and closed this distribution center as well as about 40 of their Charlotte-area supermarkets. Westmount converted the facility from a single-tenant property and remarketed it for multi-tenant use, currently at 70% occupancy. The property has been renamed Logistics Pointe.
Improvements
The 1,093,000-square-foot industrial complex is located in southwest Charlotte, the largest industrial market in the Carolinas. The facilities date to 1973 and include a freezer building of 209,316 square feet and 191,239 square feet of refrigerated space.
Land
66.3 acres of land within close proximity to major traffic arteries with I-77, I-485, I-85 and the Charlotte/Douglas International Airport nearby.
