DALLAS, TEXAS—May 23, 2011—Westmount Realty Finance, LLC (“WRF”) announced the recent hiring of Jim Brownlow as Managing Director. Mr. Brownlow, who has extensive capital markets, investment and development experience encompassing all sectors of commercial and residential real estate, will focus on expanding the firm’s real estate acquisitions and capital raising efforts.

Mr. Brownlow began his career in real estate in 1971. He previously led the Dallas office of Lomas & Nettleton Mortgage Company and served as Senior Vice President of Finance at Vantage Properties. In this capacity, and later as President of Vantage Financial Services (VFS), Mr. Brownlow was responsible for all debt, equity, joint ventures, acquisitions and disposition activities for all Vantage investment and development subsidiaries. During his tenure at VFS, Mr. Brownlow oversaw $5 billion of investment and development production. He also recapitalized VFS under the name Stonehill Realty Capital, Inc. and later re-established Stonehill in a new partnership with Chicago-based PRM Realty Group. As Co-Founder and President of Stonehill-PRM, Mr. Brownlow was instrumental in the firm completing the acquisition or development of 17 multifamily projects and over 2,300 acres of land acquisitions. He also served as Chief Executive Officer of PRM Realty Group.

Mr. Brownlow has been actively involved in several industry organizations, including the Mortgage Bankers Association, the Urban Land Institute (Council Member) and the Real Estate Council.
