Westmount Sells Riverside Commons in Irving

Research in Motion Ltd. purchased Riverside Commons, a 460,297-square-foot office complex in Irving, TX, from Westmount Realty Capital LLC. The sale price was not disclosed.
The multi-tenant office complex at 5000-5040 Riverside Drive consists of six buildings varying from two to four stories. Riverside Commons was constructed in 1987 on 12.9 acres in the Urban Center/Wingren submarket. Amenities include an atrium, conferencing facility, fitness center, food service, on-site management and security system.
Research in Motion is a mobile technology designer, manufacturer and marketer. With locations in Canada and the UK, the Irvine office will be its first U.S. location.
Patrick O'Keefe, Gary Carr and Eric Mackey of CB Richard Ellis represented both the buyer and the seller.
